The population eventually dwindled and the school closed. It is now privately owned and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

The gym was built by the WPA in 1941 and in 1954 a second addition was added. The high school was discontinued in 1964 but the elementary kept going for students.

The town stayed small for many years until the 1970's, when the building boom began.
Bonus- if you remember the arcade that was at one time in the bank building.

There was a pool, baseball field, picnic areas, and an amphitheater built over the course of 8 years. The gate still stands welcoming those who chose to visit.

Three federal agencies helped build structures in the park, the Federal Emergency Relief Administration, the Civil Works Administration, and the Works Progress Administration.

The townsite developers then named the new town after the judge.

The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992 and now serves Clinton as a multi-purpose recreation facility.
