This piece started out with me testing a different way of shading that would be faster, and more efficient. From there it became more of a chance to experiment with the different layer types, as well as color and lighting in general. I really loved how this turned out!

I worked on this piece during the final few weeks working at a job where transphobic and racist behavior was normalized. I had artwork that I made torn down and thrown away. Working on this piece during those weeks along with my partner's reassurance and love gave me a sense of calm #pride

I'm very happy with how this piece turned out. Out of a period of a week that I had taken away from work just to focus on art, this was the last piece I finished. A hare wizard is casting a spell, but for what purpose?

I've noticed my eyes getting more tired the longer into the night that I would work on art, and after a point I just had to go to bed whether I wanted to or not. So yeah, take a break every now and then.
