Earlier this year, Congress set aside $3 billion for snap benefits. I believe that DOGE took that money to use on something else and now the administration is desperately trying to make sure we the people don’t find out.

Someone want to tell Mikey here that 86% of all SNAP benefits go to households that include a child, an elderly person, or a person with disabilities?
Or that almost 40% of SNAP recipients are children?

Today I deleted Threads. I’m torn about Facebook and Instagram. The prospect of the next 4 years being played out in social media makes me sad. Its all just spin and nuance; news - raw news - just doesn’t seem to exist.
