In groups create out groups. Culture is wonderful but countries are stupid.

Spend more time thinking about the starry nights.

When is bins?

(It's an important philosophical question at this juncture)

This is a brilliantly strange perspective.

Apparently some people can lie on their backs, outside, at night and watch the stars and feel the rotation of the earth

Woulda saved some time in the middle ages dropping the heliocentric model if those people had been believed a bit sooner!
🧵
Here is Earth's rotation realized in an unusual way: using a camera scanning the landscape of Tivoli, Namibia, Bartosz Wojczyński focused on the sky.

He created a timelapse spanning 24 h that has a focal point in the sky rather than on the ground.

This is important.

AGI is coming, and faster than you think.

It's unregulated.

It's unprotected.

It will upend all our lives before the end of the decade.

All the current noise is a meaningless distraction.

Don't be distracted.

Prepare now.

Trump's move to break up education department a conservative pipe dream since Reagan
Conservatives in the US have long argued that control over education should lie with the states.
