As a long time, viewer of Canadians, it occurs to me that Trump has done more to unify Canadians and to make them aware of their strengths and virtues than its on leaders!

Thank you for your effort which helps to hold open the breath of the Episcopal, indeed, a breath that belongs to the "c"atholic church.

Ah the agonies of publication! Love it.

Carney's speech which I have just read in full is remarkable. It would rank high in the realm of what we use to call statesmanship. Many in the US are grateful. One worry, hopefully no one suggests that he should get the Nobel Peace Prize!

One would think that labeling some a terrorist without the need to justify its use would be judicially and publicly enjoined. To the extent that one is invested in such cavalier usage, in the long run, will come with a price, namely not recognizing the real thing when it comes.

Not sure what to say. In the English book it was required to be said at Christmas, which in a Charles William's novel is taken as an excuse for not attending church on Christmas! Christologically it is sublime, but then there are the naughty bits condemning heretics.

A painful reminder. In truth we have not come that far, that we might be enthralled it the same awful necessity.

Curiously, has resulted in broader coverage, as e.g. I never watch 60 Minutes. And longer legs, as the story about the story has its own life. Which is important as the public's attention span fades quickly. Thanks for the post!

Thanks. There once a time ago, but the experience lingers.

University of Nebraska Lincoln is making similar cuts, reveals that there are more administrators, at higher salaries, than teachers. Cuts are driven by economics, whose measures have nothing to do with how one learns.
