Sure Trump fired the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and the CNO....but they fired the top JAG's in the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Why would you fire the top lawyers in the armed services at night on a Friday? That's the part you should be freaking out about.

If this happened in a foreign country we’d call it a purge
So the President not only fired the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. He also fired the top JAGs at the Army, Navy and Air Force. Those are the lead people who determine what is a legal order and what is not. So if you're planning to do things that are illegal they're the most obvious obstacle.

See it's funny, because there probably was a time in U.S. history when an unelected plutocrat gaining illicit access to government systems would have resulted in him being dragged out of whatever government building he was in at the moment by his balls by armed government agents within +/- 3 minutes
