When the fabric on the hat you're knitting is kind of structural at the moment.
I'm sure it'll block out

I almost never use an actual cable needle to cable with. Mostly I don't use a darning needle to cable with either, but it's working out!

Remember how we collect altoid tins? This is why. Annie’s partner makes these beautiful polymer clay tins, and they’re part of our craft fair today. She also has these incredible koi paintings. So lovely! 🧶 #knitsky #arlingtonma

Had an English teacher once who said the real tragedy of KING LEAR was how it was almost five hundred years later and we still didn’t have a good solution for aging parents.

Should’ve realized she was going through some shit.

🐑 Domesticated sheep can’t shed their own fleece, so shearing is essential for their health. Without it, they risk overheating, mobility issues, and flystrike. Ethical shearing keeps sheep comfortable and cared for. 🌿✂️ #WoolFacts #SustainableFiber #EthicalWool 🧶

Sheep, some assembly required
Sometimes you need something to distract you from all the yarn fumes. We just got in so much Noro, and I am not okay.

So we've been talking about my 13 sweaters in 13 months project over on the shop account, but then something occurred to me this morning.

I started this project to get a whole pile of things off needles, and instead February, March, April, and May are all entirely new knits. Oh well.

Your underpracticed, unpolished artstyle that you think is "bad" is so much better than ai, I promise you. If nothing else, you're willing to put in *some* effort.

And of course, there's nothing quite like a 2x2 ribbed hat to make you fundamentally question your ability to count to 2.
One of my favorite things about working in a yarn store is getting to try out all the yarn! This is a new Ella Rae that's a worsted weight self-striping yarn. You wouldn't catch the self-striping from the hank, so Annie's working up a hat to show off the shifts.

This has been my mostly daily coffee cup for 2 months, and the sticker has been on it for the whole time. It's holding up great.

The Manos Ideal and cables were clearly made for each other, I can't wait to see the finished piece post blocking. I'm seriously contemplating knitting Campari in the same yarn in the black. 🧶
Hard to see a dark Nor’easter cardi on your phone, but I promise it’s pretty. Cables in back 🧶😜
Why do you knit a hip length black cabled cardigan? Because it’s gorgeous, that’s why. This is @babycocktails.bsky.social Nor’easter in Manos Ideal. I can’t wait for this to finish blocking so I can wear it! 🧶
