Ys VI has far and away my least favorite OST in the series. Decent composition, but awful production, and only three tracks are genuinely "great" in my estimation. This is one of them, as filtered through the sonic lens of Mega Man X for SNES.
I'm very much of the opinion that to digitize a human mind, you would have to also perfectly 3D model a human body for it to digitally inhabit, or else the result would very rapidly cease to be a human mind.

2026 is doing nothing enjoyable for my ongoing and ever-increasing sense of derealization. This world feels like an extremely stupid and drawn-out prank on me personally. I find it hard to believe this many people are so credulous.

It occurs to me that The Ring is basically like Corpse Party, in that the remake is excellent, while the original is a mere curiosity, and all of the follow-ups to the remake range from execrable to just just disappointing.
