These plants receive pre-fabricated parts from Canada, Mexico, China, and other countries. The tariffs don't protect the US plants; if anything their costs triple and sometimes quadruple due to #CFTrumps across-the-board tariffs on the goods that come into the US to assemble those products.

But he's just as clueless about mfg. He wants tech companies, auto companies and other "mfg" businesses to come to USA to build here.
What #CFTrump doesn't understand is that these plants are not manufacturing in the true sense. They are assembly plants.

VP Harris had an extremely complicated and difficult path to walk last fall. I'm not happy with a lot of what she did and how she did it, but I will always appreciate her integrity and love for the law and the people she served.
