Men, if you're feeling so low that you're having suicidal thoughts, reach out to one of your boys. Don't use it as an in with some girl - talk about your issues with another guy just because. And be ready for them to reciprocate, b/c more might than you think. And don't turn it into a misogyny jam.

Women have been providing free emotional service to men since the dawn of time, so I don't blame them, now that men's horribleness is at an all-time high, for saying, "Figure it out yourself, assholes". Some innocent guys may catch strays there, but that's not women's problem, nor should it be.

I get it - being lonely sucks. I've been alone most of my life. Part of why I tried to 📴 myself 25 yrs. ago is b/c I was lonely & nobody bothered to check how I was handling my parents' very rough divorce. That doesn't mean it was some woman's responsibility to be my therapist-with-benefits, though.
