I live in Aus & thankfully we kicked the Trumper opposition to the curb. Still, I can’t stop watching the decline of the US wondering how this is all going to end up and where the world will be after 4 yrs of this. It’s like watching a car crash re-happening every single day destroying it bit by bit

My take home from this is yhe biggest impact you can make with Trump is to completely ignore him including a media blackout. He craves attention & he knows how to get it. Everything to this point is all about eyes on him. Ignoring him would render him impotent.

I’m sitting in bed crying at the result of our election 🇦🇺. The sheer relief has hit me hard. With only 44% of votes counted Labor have won. They are not perfect by any means but the alternative was far far worse. I will be able to sleep well tonight. Thank you Straya you bloody ripper!

I’m watching “who do you think you are” UK. An Anglo-Indian journalist has discovered she’s a direct descendant of an army general who knew George Washington and fought against the British for American independence. I can’t help but wonder what he would think of the country he fought for now.

Question: I live in Aus. After a bit of research I think we import our vaccines under a US owned company’s licence, but I’m not sure if we import them directly from the US? Because if we do, then this is a serious health risk to us given the drug addled RFK jr and his bloody whacked ideas.

In a world that feels really unstable, we need not to lose our minds through panic and fear. We need to pull together, and work to positioning ourselves so we are relatively shielded from what may or may not come. This video has some really good tips.

Just finished watching Netflix’s Turning Point: the bomb and Cold War. It explains a lot of how we got here but if we don’t want the world to devolve even further into an authoritarian cesspit we need to start defending our democracies. We cannot let Trump and Putin win!

With everything that has gone on in the US the last 3 months what I see is how fragile the 3 pillars of government actually were. There was always a way to game the system and now someone has. By installing their own heads & firing everyone in the bureaucracy they are able to ignore court orders. 1/

You know the world has gone to shit when you find your husband doing nuclear simulations to find out how close a nuclear fallout would be to our house (taking into consideration the b***, radiation and heat). So far only the largest one in the world would get us so apparently we’re safe 😱.
