What a great statement from the UK women's sector, calling out the rank hypocrisy of media, politicians & far-right groups suddenly claiming to care about violence against women & girls if it helps them to scapegoat people who are seeking asylum, on the masculinist basis of 'protecting' 'our' women.
The fight to end gender-based violence and uphold migrant rights are connected; relying on a world in which everyone’s rights are respected.
Political leaders must change course and play a positive role in building a better world for us all #NotInOurName
