uh idk why i suddenly have 3K more followers than last week, but i assume it's because of Black History Month and if so i have a book coming out, THIS ENDS IN EMBERS, sequel to SO LET THEM BURN, and tbh i'd rather you buy it or repost this so other people might buy it 😘

My wife and I talk after the kids go to bed, trying to figure out what we want to do and how to go about it, but also, we need escapes from all of it too...books, games, shows, whatever can ease the worry for a bit
I’m torn between “let me make my silly little posts about my books” and “the world feels like it’s ending and this seems out of place”. I think it’s important to find joy when and where we can, but it’s becoming harder every day

Back in college, my buddy Dot was playing this game on a ps2 (romance of the 3 kingdoms, I think - some strategy game with flags) and I would sit on the couch and practice my rudiments and snare drum music to the reeeeaaallly repetitive music - it annoyed him, but i got my practice in #music #drums

Just finished the sitzprobe of #Hairspray at the J in KC. The show has earned its criticisms for white saviorism, but it's still a treat to see a beautifully diverse and talented cast sing about #equality #theater #musical
