I think it’s our cross a bear as persistent and knowledgeable home nurses to inevitably marry someone who does not come from that world. Like how one person always understands where they’re going on a trip and the other person is watching the trees.

this doesn’t make it better or more right than anyone else, though I do think unless you’re someone who wants to be completely left alone, most people really like the fussing about and babying when they feel like trash. As I’ve done it for friends too, which they like, even if they’re annoyed at me.

My mom was a very hands-on nurse who constantly checked on her “patient” knows all household remedies by both their generic names and dosages by heart. She would force you to eat when you needed to, but didn’t want to.

She essentially babied me and because of that I am very good as a home nurse.
