I bought a chain-driven window opener from Zemismart and it was DOA. and because I am compulsively an engineer I decided I wouldn't let that stand and I have completely reverse-engineered the device and told them what the most likely root-cause is (I am not using a 433 remote, fuck that)

the average fucking-moron-ness of Google has reached the point where they failed one of their core tasks which is that someone spamming a calendar invite (which does go to Spam in e-mail) does not get to actually schedule a motherfucking event, much less one with a reminder executed as notification

success! wrote a really quick NIghtscout client and now it throws on to the device. I really fucked up the NTP time sync this week and it was a head-scratcher until I figured out I was using a nanos call in a place where micros
