For files I recommend copyparty. My experience with it has been leagues better than Nextcloud. Basically there’s a bunch of individual tools that I find much better even if they aren’t interconnected like Nextcloud.

You’re right. It does include xwayland-satellite (un)stable as a package though. That’s probably what I was remembering.

If you use niri-flake the integration just works.
It installs niri & the compatible xwayland-satellite version.
