The entire Simply Solo series is great.

I love heavy music. Not just kawaii metal. Love it all!

They are great books. Sanderson does an incredible job of world building. And he makes you actually care about the characters.

I really enjoyed the demo I was able to play of it at Gen Con. The mechanisms and theme work really well together.

I’m hoping I can get my wife to play it this weekend (though she’s not read the books so the theme doesn’t mean anything to her - but maybe playing the game will lead to her reading them …).

A lot of the time, I don’t think we deserve the greatness that is animals.

I think I would be happy with a collection of around 200-250. I’d love to get it down to a much smaller number and then start doing “new game in, older game out” to keep it slimmed down.

I feel this in my core (except for the "selling 100 games this year" piece. I have FAR too many games. I think my collection has topped the 1,600 games mark at this point. Culling needs to happen. My problem is finding the time to do so.

Picking a favorite board game is like picking a favorite child - it depends on the day 🤣. In all seriousness, I have several that I classify as favorites. Those include Ark Nova, Castles of Burgundy, Orleans, Marvel Champions, and Nemesis.
