No board games being played tonight. This evening is all about supporting a local book lounge, doing some reading, and getting my tarot cards read. Gonna be a fun night.

My wife and I had a fun afternoon yesterday at our local coffee shop. We played two more games of the cooperative campaign of Dorfromantik: The Board Game. Such a relaxing experience. And it’s fun to unlock special tiles and achievements throughout the campaign.

My game plays for 2024. Quite a solid year with a lot of great games and over 80 unique players! Hoping to creat the 500 plays mark in 2025. #bgstats

Last night, I had the privilege and joy to play a 4-player game of Arcs by @leder.games. Such a great design! I absolutely loved the unique card play. We played w/ the Leaders & Lore expansion and the asymmetric leaders/lore added a fun layer of additional strategy. I look forward to playing again!

I had the pleasure of playing Kelp: Shark vs Octopus (from Wonderbow Games) with my wife this past weekend at our local coffee shop. I really enjoyed the asymmetry and the tug of war of the game. Looking forward to playing it far more.

Dear Marvel, MORE Kahhori please! She is such an amazing character and her episode of What If…? was easily the best. Loved the decision to have all characters speaking their native tongues and subtitling it all. We need more of her.

Today was the day we’ve been dreading. We helped Lily, our 16-year-old basset hound, cross the rainbow bridge today. She’d been in my life for 8+ years. It’ll be a while before I feel ok.

Did the Lorcana thing tonight. Enjoyable game. Though I’m baffled why the shop running the event opted to have the 6 people on each time slot play a 6-player game instead of three 2-player ones.
