The excuse for this bungling will be that it was a celebration and not a classic military parade. But once again, the USA has humiliated itself in front of the whole world. I hope the Trump voters die of embarrassment.
Honestly I still can’t stop laughing 😂😅🤣

I just heard about the death of George Lowe, space ghost himself. I remember the first time I saw space Ghost Coast to Coast and the side splitting laughter. That humor became defining to my personality. It was silly and irreverent without being cruel. Thank you for the laughs Mr. Lowe

I wrote a short explainer for my Substack of the biggest (but strangely under the radar) corruption of the Trump White House: the Trump crypto coin. A conduit for secret, shameless bribery of the President. www.chrismurphyct.com/p/trumps-big...
Trump’s Biggest Corruption is Flying Under the Radar
The scale of corruption in Trump’s White House has been stunning and unprecedented.

My grant was terminated without notice terminated as part the US government cuts, it was substantial portion of my livelihood and it was a job that gave me so much joy and let me share in so much community and giving. I feel so disrespected and lost. I don't know where to go from here.

If government spending in the US is 23% of GDP and the administration plans on cutting this by a third what will do to US growth figures?

Rewatching the #startrek #DS9 episode Past Tense there's a scene that stood out. The homeless were telling their stories that went unheard because they didn't have internet access. What they got wrong here wasn't the unheard stories, but the reason the stories aren't heard is algorithmic filtering.

Now this is useful! Wanna know how much of the asinine Project 2025 — that project Trump vowed he “didn’t know anything about” 🥴—has been implemented, what’s in the works and what’s in the pipeline?

I've been playing @magic.wizards.com on and off since I was 12 now, for the first time, I won a draft event. I did not know most of the cards from #MTGInnestrad because of a long hiatus but it was interesting play and I had a lot of fun.

The reality of the anti-DEI anti-woke movement is it's about killing labor protections. It's a rebranding of union busting for modern day.

Tomorrow's the RFK Jr hearing. I hope to see the hearing room papered with two sets of poster-sized images: Kennedy's insane-crank Instagram circa early 2020, and pictures of kids with vaccine-preventable diseases.

If they're going to confirm him, make it clear to the public what we're getting.

I still wear mine. Still works still the only smart watch I've ever considered since my first. Simple, long battery life, physical buttons, actually tells you the time all the time. It declutters your digital life instead of complicates it. I'm excited for new hardware.

The misunderstanding around #DEI and #DEIA is amazing. Most of what it does is making sure searches for employees include underrepresented people and doesn't have unnecessary barriers. It also checks nepotism and cronyism, destroying this is the aim of eliminating it.

Oddly I find myself following more news on this app but having less stress despite the news being worse these days. It's clear to me that the engagement bait on other platforms and equally baity conversations attached to them were the source of my stress. Dowm with algorithmic feeds

The rules, if you are keeping track:

If a single left activist anywhere in the world says "defund the police," it becomes the official position of the Democratic Party, now and forever.

If the president's top surrogate repeatedly sieg-heils on stage, it's ambiguous, impossible to interpret.

Among my many concerns about the first day actions of the president in the forefront of my mind is a worry. I fear his pardon of violent extremists will act as an endorsement to extremists across the US and the world. I expect only more violence to come out of this.
