By 2050, if our pathway is delivered against, annual household energy bills are predicted to be ~£700 cheaper than today, and household driving bills are predicted to be ~£700 cheaper than today.

In the last year, UK emissions fell by 4% overall. We are starting to see glimpses of a low-carbon transition, but this will need to ramp up alongside renewables, heat pumps and EVs becoming the norm.

Our annual Progress Report is out today. The country’s 2030 target is at risk. It’s not too late to get back on track but now the Government needs to take urgent action in the next year.
