All round general nerd -
I talk about food, gaming, music, travel, cars, the auto industry, Warhammer, Lego, books, Ireland, the UK, and anything else that catches my attention.
Thoughts and views are my own, and do not reflect or represent my employer.
The big problem is having to get UK type approval post Brexit. That would cost six figures, since you need a car for testing, engineering time, facilities etc.
A car like this will make £10-20k/unit after development costs etc, so at low volumes you're spending a lot to make not a huge amount.

They'll do RHD regardless, since Japan is a RHD market too.

I think the UK is the only RHD market that uses miles per hour though, but that's not a big issue today when most high end cars have screens instead of gauges.

Homologation and legislation have been blamed, on top of poor sales, plus the draw of the LM MPV for the chauffeur driven market.

It won't be the last to be pulled from the UK; dealing with standalone legislation & RHD to access 60m people who are quite set in their ways is a lot for small returns.

Not going to argue with that.

Use whatever you like, but cash isn't free.
Cash has to be minted, transported, and distributed securely.
All of these things have a cost attached to them.
Businesses are charged cash handling fees by banks, and, also need to dedicate time & resources to handling, storing, and transporting cash.

I've been giving Threads a good go, but more and more people have been talking about this place, so have arrived to see what's going on.
