Why does Birmingham Airport have no biometric passport machines at immigration in 2025?

Remember when you were a kid colouring in something big, and after a while you got bored of moving the crayon back and forth in one direction, so you changed the angle, and the end result looked a bit...strange?

Last night's skirt steak & ale stew. Bit too much ale, took a long time to get the bitter alcohol taste out, but the finished result was pretty good.
Plenty of leftovers in the freezer to be made into a pie at the weekend.

Walking through a snowy Central Park NYC a few days before Christmas, and for a second we thought it had started snowing again.
Then realised the "snow" was feathers, and a red tailed hawk (I think) was enjoying a fresh pigeon for lunch in a tree above us.
