Today, I was venting to a friend about life. I said, "How are disabled people supposed to get by on only $1500 a month?"
The answer is: we aren't.
It's an infeasible amount in the current economy, and if not for the generosity of others, I would be homeless. Or worse.

W/ the recent passing of the BBB, over the next 5 yrs the American healthcare system is bracing for rural hospital & clinic closure, loss of preventative care access for underserved populations, loss of health insurance, and rising commercial insurance premiums.

They aren’t stealing your tax dollars, they’re forced into legislated poverty.
