Best way to avoid distresing news?? Turn off the portal, buckle up with an awesome book, freshly off the press, about what it means to live with mental distress and how to best to respond to it to lead a flourishing life; and learn that these can all be proper objects of scientific inquiry!

A woman must have a room of her own and no admin duties if she is to finish [a good enough draft of] her book (and amazing colleagues!!!) Grateful for the Ann Johnson Institute at University of South Carolina for organizing a manuscript workshop and for the readers agreeing to provide feedback!
