No! Of course not. I just wanted to remind people not to be sexist in their language when condemning shitty people. It doesn’t mean I don’t think those people shouldn’t be condemned.

I don’t have all the answers, everyone! But I do think you can say “hey this person sucks and their politics are really bad and they are possibly evil” without calling them a sexist name. That’s all! With misogyny on the rise in young ppl I do think we should be aware of this!

I am a queer woman who gets called a lot of things. I think there’s ways to attack without using sex or someone’s looks. That’s all I’m saying here.

I think calling a Nazi a Nazi is ok! But I work with kids and see misogyny rising and when they see “ok” targets it makes it feel more ok to aim it at anyone. I will fight against right wing rhetoric to my last breath. I know it isn’t normal times. Still doesn’t make normalizing that language ok.

I’m always against transphobia in any form! We should all fight. I’m not American so I have that lens, but I am also sick of logging online and seeing people say heinous things and acting like it’s ok because of who they’re being said about when it shouldn’t be ok to say that stuff about anyone.

Misogyny is so hardwired into a patriarchal system that sometimes we don’t even realize we’re doing it but please try harder!

I am begging people to find a way to disagree with a woman in politics without using sex or her looks as fodder.
