Halifax isn’t the only Atlantic Canadian city with an eldritch abomination masquerading as a Christmas tree (the Happy Tree was retired here last year but its vibe lives on in us all).

We went to The Mummer’s Parade here today, mummering being a long standing tradition in Newfoundland. The parade is a favourite thing of mine to take in every year.
