Finished @ryan-holiday.bsky.social last book of his virtue series. I still think Courage Is Calling is my favorite, but this book is unique unto itself and took no small amount of courage to write, IMO. Definitely recommend.

Read @naominovik.bsky.social The Summer War over the weekend. A great story of fantasy and family with a heart warming ending. It was a pleasant distraction from the noise going on out in the world right now. And I love the cover - a shoutout to the designer.

Was reminded by @jseattle.bsky.social post on the CHS blog that there was a new bookstore on 15th. Haunted Burrow Books has a good selection of the dark and spooky - worth checking out.

I finished @sarahkendzior.bsky.social They Knew: How A Culture Of Conspiracy Keeps America Complacent. It is a compelling and frightening read, and offers a decent explanation of what is going on in America at the moment. Makes me wonder what the average American citizen should do in response?

Finished @violetblue.bsky.social A Fish Has No Word For Water. Some of it is stranger than fiction, but a beautiful tale of friendship in a time of hardship. Thank you for writing it.
