As a solo band, the idea of playing a live show was never really part of the plan. I've always been perfectly content to write/record/release my album every year and call it a day.

Recorded some really cool stuff for next year's instrumental track today. Started out as just a weird series of odd-time arpeggios, and it's morphed into a sonatina of sorts. Three distinct sections. Main part of the opening section sounds a bit like early Scale the Summit (for people that remember)

It's been a quiet time in Biscuit land lately, but here's a fun little curio. Back in January/February we did a live session at a local studio in Detroit. It was a bit of a warm up for our first gig in March. Live recording, no click! Super energetic.

Yeah, everyone knows Paranoid is good. Still blows me away though. It holds up today, but listening to it in 1970 historical context is mind-destroying. War Pigs, Electric Funeral, Hand of Doom. Come on. This is the heaviest shit on EARTH at the time.

DT discog part 16 - Parasomnia
Aside from the AI art, I think Parasomnia is a triumph. The previous record showed signs of reclaiming their former glory, and now they're back. It's dark, heavy, and majestic, like all of the great Dream Theater albums. Big time Train of Thought vibes. Easy top 5!

This is just outrageously cool to see. I'm beyond flattered and excited to read the new review of one of my favorite works. I absolutely poured my heart into Unexplained Wounds and I'm happy that it's reached some people!
