All I’m asking is this, please be conscious with your shopping not just this season but year round. A world without small businesses is a bleak one, but YOU can help keep that from becoming a reality.

Supporting small businesses is vital for sustaining our communities and it makes our world a better place. Small creators, makers, craftspeople, artists add so much richness and beauty to the world, but we can’t do that for free. We depend on your support.

4.) Leave positive feedback. Buy something from a great indie creator that you love? Take the time to write a review letting everyone know how awesome it is! Including pics of you enjoying the product in your daily life is great too!

3.) Share their posts far and wide. Boost their work wherever you can!
We all know it’s a struggle against the algorithms. Help folks and their work be seen!

2.) Engage with their posts. A like and/or comment goes a long way! Tagging your friends and fam is a great help too.

And if you can’t purchase (believe me I understand), there are other ways you can support small businesses this season and year round.

This year’s a particularly hard one for small businesses. Please, as you’re shopping this season consider purchasing from small, indie shops like mine. The billionaires don’t need their pockets lined further, but small creators are depending on the sales they bring in to survive.

Dropping letters from the abbreviation doesn’t make us disappear or make us forget. My heart goes out to all of the trans, intersex, and asexual NPS employees. We see you.Thank you for what you do.
