aaaaand this is branch 4 that has fallen now :/ At least it fell on their side this time and only bent and knocked over our decorations on the fence. The branches are bad enough but our real worry is that the whole tree could fall over and possibly hit our house.

Not every artistic liberty project gets a drawing first, but when it does sometimes it gets a fairly extensive one like these, but note how there are still differences between the sketch vs the outcome, the nice thing about art lib projects is that they have the freedom to evolve as they see fit ♥️

Ya know, I keep kicking myself that these furs are not be a perfect match to the art, but 10 years ago it would have been IMPOSSIBLE to find 4 different shades of warm gray at all (and even then it took me 2 months to source every warm gray I could find) so I guess I need to be less hard on myself

so the purrmaid is DONE but her outfit won't be here for a couple weeks, and I feel that it is important to debut her worn so people can see the size of the head and tail, but here are some teaser shots for anyone thinking of saving up to buy her come mid November (price will be around $4k)

other makers and their famcy pamts sub dye printed eyes were they can paint one eye on the computer and flip it for the other eye, meanwhile I am over here screeching and cussing at a pile of paint pens about having to make the second eye match the first one

I am at the "these ears turned out terrifyingly huge I hope I know what I am doing" stage of the head build (no seriously, major "trust the process" right now that the size will look correct after the face gets fur)

It was interesting doing this expression, "worried" is not something you see much in fursuits at all let alone realistic ones (which we thought about pinned ears, but the ears are so iconic to the breed that we compromised and pinned one only slightly)

I absolutely LOVE the semi-official Zelda mangas by Akira Himekawa and they way they expanded upon the stories of the games, and well now they are finally making something fully original, and I can't wait to read it aaaaa already preordered my copy of Kamudo
