For 80mins Raul Jiminez put in one of the greatest CF displays I’ve watched for a team digging in for #FFC. Ridiculously clinical in his one chance and fought and chased every loose ball going. Hold up play and buying fouls at key times also. Really like him as a player and £5.5m for that is a snip

Dont get me wrong, he’s obviously feeling it, and is a special character - but like Jose, Ferguson, and Klopp, he is a master of taking attention away from his players

Think #LCFC sacking Steve Cooper was a shock to some - owner and Cooper was not a good match & injuries didnt help either manager or players cause

Have been heavily impressed with the #Brighton performances aside from the high line issues at Stamford Bridge. Through a tough run of games and likes of Dunk Minteh March returning to their already deep squad - if Hurzeler’s men are more consistent against “lower” teams 📈📈🔵⚪️

When Pep moved to 3-2-4-1, Stones was key beside Rodri. Now Rodri is out, Stones’ attributes become vital beside Kovacic / Gundogan, or else in a change of system to lessen Rodri’s abscence. Stones has only started 2/11 games in #PL this season

The first of these: Nicolas Jackson to explode infront of goal
The Maresca system is designed to provide chances for the CF in great areas. Last season, the #LCFC CF (Vardy, Daka, Iheanacho) accumulated 32.8xG between them. Jackson has 6 goals from ~ 6xG so far, & #CFC are through a tough run

Ahead of Saka and any of the CB’s due to the added depth in them other areas. Links a world class defence to a just below world class attack. Leader of #afc standards on and off the ball, leader of the press, provides tons of energy - massively key player 🔴

Right now I would say Iwobi over ESR / Robinson. Flexibility to play out wide offering legs, as a 10 or deeper in game, he’s taken his game to a new level driving the #FFC team on this season. Decision making has improved a lot over the past year.⚪️⚫️

Maddison’s abaility to create something from nothing is vital against low blocks, & his calm on the ball is why #THFC brought him in. Thinking back to the great start last season, he was integral regardless of Son/Richarlison CF. Has clearly fallen out of form / favour⚪️
