The UK Terrorism Act was enacted to address terrorism. The UK government seems to be twisting this to now include non-violent direct action protest. www.bbc.com/news/article...

During the WW2 Operation Loyton in the Vosges 31 British SAS were captured and murdered by the Nazis. In reprisal 140 French civilians also were taken to die in concentration camps. When the authoritarian spectre reaches full pitch they annihilate anyone who does not submit.

A core fallacy being made by Trump supporters is that because they support him then he will protect them and not come after them. Throughout history authoritarian followers have made this mistake. He will search for any sign that you are not submitting to him, forever.

You can see the ICE agents in their minivans then the LAPD cars in the back appearing to block the Dodger Stadium parking lot entrance.
When I asked an LAPD officer if they are blocking ICE from entering the parking lot she said “put it this way. The Dodgers don’t want them coming in.”

Sarcasm, though this seems to be the actual belief of many Right Wingers. The fact that Right Wingers won or control almost all media, social media, youtubes, podcasts, substacks etc. is not enough for them.

The biggest challenge to a nonviolent national mass protest movement big enough to overwhelm the tenuous grasp on power that Trump has is the local instruments of power ostensibly controlled by people who ostensibly represent the very groups trying to lead that movement.
