I don’t speak French but man does this album speak to me. The Up Beat Funk intro of “Sans toi” prepares you perfect for one of the best Modern French Jazz albums I’ve heard. Another amazing gift by the French for the books.

In 2000, I used to save up to buy David Bowie albums. They were €25 each, which is €42 today. I didn’t care, I needed to hear the music desperately. There was no other way. I didn’t have my own pc, or Internet at home. There was something very beautiful about music having that much scarcity
