Ranger to be honest. This kinda fusion between a rogue, a druid, and a fighter is a pretty cool idea in theory. But when you try to come up with ideas for an interesting ranger, I find most of the time (in my experience) the class just falls short creatively. It just doesnt have much flavor to it.

I pay my boyfriend to draw things for me all the time. There’s TONS of commission artists who would gladly draw your lil guy for a handful of cash.

And to clarify, when it comes to art. Even if you can’t draw and don’t want to learn? Then there is heroforge and a bunch of pre-rendered asset style character creators you can use. And if you have the money, you can PAY an artist.

YOU GOT THIS! Once you get a feel for your class abilities it comes naturally.

Thats why I usually have myself do like opposed rolls or I roll actions for npc’s and monsters out of combat. If my players hide in a city from guards. I have them all roll group stealth. Then I roll a D100. If I roll higher than their average? They’re found. If not? They get away or have lost em.

Your big corpo ones cost an arm and a leg for no reason. But smaller creators charge pretty good amounts. $15-25 for a book or content pack is a pretty good deal. Even some companies like R Talsorian releases some good prices. Especially for extra content.

In my tuesday game, I dm for a Kenku who plays into crows and ravens being deceitful animals. He’s an eloquence bard whose whole thing is that everything he says could he a truth or lie. And there is no way to tell.
