A radiologist living in a place I refuse to work (blue dot in a red state, working remotely for a blue state). Disillusioned by conflict$ of intere$t in medicine (govt/Dobbs/insurance/admin), idealistic enough to work late every night bc patients>profits.
Reposting D Glaucomflecken’s post addressing the United Healthcare shooting. Most doctors I know/work with etc. don’t condone the murder, but we also don’t feel sympathy (certainly not nearly as much as we feel for patients who suffer & die bc of health insurance cos). And that’s okay. 1/3
