Make your calls. Go to your town halls. Ask your state and local officials what they are doing under state and local law. Rest. Hydrate. Make soup for the hungry. Don’t let people tell you that you’re doing it wrong. Not a sprint. Not a marathon. A relay. Find your team. Thank you.

NIH cuts and Missouri.
Missouri: 4 schools received over $10 million from the NIH in 2024 for a total of ~$830 million. Of that, $546 million went directly to research and $294 to facilities and administration. The new rate would bring that to $82 million, a loss of $212 million.

When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Take inspiration from it.
