I love Hades 2 so much, but damn do I suck at it!
40 nights have come and gone without me being able to beat Chronos a single time.
However, I can finally consistently reach him every run now and can usually get to phase 2.
I feel my first win coming close, but it’s taking way too long.

Honestly, second playthrough makes this game a 9.5/10
Finished Expedition 33 and damn. I’m not quite sure how to feel.. I’d give the game a 8.5/10. Not quite a 9 because of a certain storytelling trope I’m not fond of. But the combat, characters, uniqueness, and world building are amazing.

It’s crazy seeing this post I wrote after my first playthrough because I’d give the game a 9.5/10 after my second play through.

Supposedly Kingdom Hearts 3 took so long to develop due to Disney’s lengthy approval processes to use their Disney/Pixar worlds.
I wonder if the lengthy approval process will continue or will Square Enix move towards using more unique or Final Fantasy worlds for KH4 instead.

With some spoilers, I easily chose Maelle’s ending my first playthrough. There was no consideration. I saw someone have the opportunity to escape their grief and I gave it to them without question. Replaying the game months later, I finally see the nuances of the game.
I don’t really talk about my personal life, but last year I lost the man who raised me in a tragic way.
I really used video games to escape my grief… but that was hard to do while a game like Expedition 33 took center stage with its comments on grief and escapism.
