In the Midwest you guys is entirely neuter, I never use the word to refer to men, just people. It's used like y'all in the south (and youse guys in Jersey. Couldn't we put on slippers instead of carpeting the whole world? This is genuinely meant lighthearted, not in any way negating your ideas.

Try listening to the new recordings of going postal/making money narrated by Richard Coyle... Even my husband, who didn't care for them much, loved them after hearing the books this way. The TV adaptation of postal is wonderful, and Moist is played by Coyle (cast includes other amazing actors.)
