I really had a hard time with his involvement in that Pam & Tommy piece of garbage. It was shameful to take part in a "bio" of someone still alive, whose privacy was invaded horribly and literally came out AGAINST the project. Plus they're both from British Columbia! COME ON SETH!

I hear ya - I've had to pretty much quit facebook, and barely open instagram unless someone sends me a meme and heck even limit my time here on occasion. It's not easy when the world's on fire!

This is laughable - but also really sad that it's so common that we are blatantly lied to. I guess I think it's nice that the Liberals seem to only double the numbers, where the Conservatives are included to multiple by 10?

It's "Old Time Rock & Roll" for me - I asked the DJ at my wedding to note it in his contract, that he would nullify his contract and not be paid if he played it, hahaha. He protested, asked me what happens if someone requested it - I said, "send 'em to me".

Thanks to the internet, I learned that I saw U2 open for the J Geils Band in 1982. Sadly, thanks to my poor memory I have zero recollection of it.
To be fair, I was 11-12 and likely high for the first time as potheads hotboxed the PNE.

Judging grammar is problematic in most personal situations, but I *will* judge the president of the US, and/or his "communications" team when they use the wrong you're/your/yore!

I liked “Acadie” and “Beauty of Wynona” back then, but my interest sorta petered out when he began releasing vocal-free stuff. He’s really got a style that suits some music though! ( p.s. always loved his song called Rocky World, from Wynona)

Funnily enough when Teatro came out I was probably a bigger Lanois fan than Willie (Willie was important but I wasn’t as active in my fandom then) and the album deepened my appreciation for Willie, seeing how adaptable he was to Lanois’ approach and sound!

Well I took your advice and checked them out. And was once again reminded that I really don't go for hardcore punk, lol. I can say that they sound like they're doing a great job of it, but my brain usually asks me to turn it off, pretty quickly!

Great episode! I have to admit, it kept throwing me to hear John refer to Willie as "Nelson"! In all my years, I can't recall ever hearing anyone do that, I imagine at least in part because he's THE Willie, who else could you mean?
