Watching trump's speech during CPAC was excruciating, but trump called the time between 1870 and 1910 the best times. He said it was because of tariffs. Everyone of my union brothers and sisters knows that this was a horrible time. It was called the Gilded Age.

This era was filled with government corruption, wealth disparity, and the poor, if they had jobs, were in horrible conditions. The best economic times were the 60's and 70's because of Unions and the rich paying their fair share of taxes which created the middle class.
