Whenever I get nervous about seeing a doctor, I remind myself that I shower regularly and this automatically makes me not the worst thing they’ve ever seen.

As someone that literally has a MSc on the subject, I need ppl to stop correlating DEI to « giving jobs to Black ppl ». 😭
DEI is about making programs and spaces more inclusive. Parental leave, tax brackets, jobs for veterans, flexible schedule, closed captions, elevators — all of this is DEI.

I have a couple of goals this year. I want a full time job with benefits. Just got a second part time job that will hopefully soon turn into that. I also want to move out of my parents house. No rent is nice but I want my own space. Once I have my own place... maybe stream? 👀

So this year one of two things have happened to besties, friends, and associates of mine. They've lost a pet and/or a relative has been hospitalized. If you're a mutual of mine and either of these things have happened, I feel like I should apologize.

I have had 2 interactions today with delivery drivers. 1. FedEx driver literally using his foot to push a likely christmas present off his truck. 2. Local USPS driver sees a black poodle on the loose and stops by our house to make sure it wasn't ours bc he knows all the dogs in the neighborhood.

So my school had a tradition where at prom, the seniors would hand awards to the junior class to be passed down the next year. I got the award for best homecoming costumes but I will never live down that the seniors told me they felt i deserved the salt award and they didn't like who got it.
