I never said thank you for this and I apologize, it’s actually been quite helpful to know of these. I haven’t had to implement most of them yet, but it’s good to have them in my back pocket as I start to think about how I might want this to expand in scope, so thank you!

It sucks because LLMs can still be incredibly useful for some purposes and I do think there are interesting questions that unexpected LLM capabilities might pose about linguistics and how information is encoded in language, but I feel like not a lot of people want to have conversations like that.

You got a problem with someone in the same sphere. Try an email or a damn call. But instead, I'm seeing defaults to screenshots and public shame. Really unfortunate.

Public shame works. But it's not the first thing you do in every case. Especially for people in your own community you know are trying and have a track record of good faith.

The bridge burning I'm seeing the last few years is really disheartening.
