I'm no legal genius but this law and its near impossible to enforce misdemeanor penalty seem laughably easy to circumnavigate. And I'm not alone, ICE's regional bigwigs have concurred, telling agents to not worry and that this changes nothing

It might have been because it’s a weekday, idk, but being at Olvera when it’s this empty brought back the knot in my heart I feel whenever I hear about a neighbor or family member being forcibly torn away and kidnapped by agents of an ideology determined to hurt people as much as possible
