Interesting point; you're right! As soon as the student uploads to Google classroom, the Google Classroom Admin becomes the owner. So as long as a student doesn't upload a completed copy, we should keep proof of it etc. What if a student unsubmits and uploads a new one, do we retain the original?

I can also paste any text or multiple choice quiz and answers into a Google doc and it will recreate it as a self-marking Google Form for mini knowledge tests on Google Classroom 🥰 This was after one hour of play! I want to test the version history Inspect Tool next for A.I. checking 🤓 #aieducation

Share this with staff who use Google Docs. Don't accept PDFs or note screenshots of homework or digital work. This offers an easy method to check for copied and pasted chunks of text and for students tweaking A.I. pasted work.
