I think the collapse of public support for trans rights probably has more to do with the billions of dollars fascists have spent on anti trans propaganda than trans people getting upset at said propaganda

I’m earnestly done living in this sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist culture. Not even for myself. I’m tired seeing so many people who have so much they want to give be ground down or killed. So many of us just want to give love. Fuck this poisoned culture. We all deserve better.

i fully get that. i think the core of the depression--for me specifically--is just realizing how alone we are. we deserve for our parents, for our lovers, for our cis friends, and for the vast majority of society to say "you can't hurt them just because they're different. i won't let you."

It's an easier grift to sell. The narrative around trans women is that we're all dangerous predators or whatever but the narrative around trans men is that their just lost and confused and being tricked by Big Trans
