A quiz question that asks, "The nurse educator is teaching a group of students about newborn digestion. Which statement should the nurse educator include in the teaching?" The answer options are as follows: "A) The ability to form ketones is mature at birth. B) The stomach is unable to absorb vital nutrients. C) The liver can conjugate bilirubin at birth. D) The placenta provides nutrients and removal of waste products." The selected answer of B is marked with a red x incorrect, with the correct answer D being marked with a green star. I'm genuinely crashing out here, if they said prenatal digestion, the answer would obviously be D, however the question directly asks about newborn, at which time the placenta is no longer attached.

Then, in brackets under the caption, "Alamo." The issue being that the joke was literally set up by Stan saying the family were "deserters" and to "remember the alamo." Rogu responded he "loves dessert" and the aforementioned subsequent joke. Why are they explaining it?!

Saw a recipe for lemon pepper chickpeas, and it looked awesome.

...but I didn't have chickpeas. So I used lentils. And midway through my soul told me to add some curry powder. And then I also had a tomato.

Anyway, so it's like white trash dhal or something. Wish I had made rice, but I used toast.

Big Sads are heavy, but they say spice gives your happy chemicals. So I found a packet of Thai Panang Curry paste and added some extra red chilis. My gut is gonna hate me, but it's better than my brain hating me, I suppose. 🙃

Chicken cutlets with chimichurri sauce and fresh corn on the cob.

Chicken and sauce: 8/10 (chicken was a little bland, but the sauce was so bomb it could fix anything)

Corn: 6/10 (picked a different farmer people recommended, not nearly as good as the dude down the hill, but it is still early)
Fried chicken cutlets with a vibrant green chimichurri sauce drizzled over them next to a large golden cob of corn. The corn is sprinkled liberally with coarse salt. All on a red and black plaid plate.
