Elon sucks.
Haggerty is a foul merchant, but that doesn't excuse officials from just ignoring that he is being fouled.

I am perfectly fine with Mounty on the 2026 Orioles. I don't get the process of tendering him at what is going to be a ridiculous number for a 1B who has not hit in 1.5 years. Unless resources are unlimited, which would be awesome, $7-8M is completely unjustifiable for any of the recent performance.

Eeles is 5'5 with a 13%+ walk rate at every level.

I've got a few inches on that, but respect the short guy game regardless.
Orioles trade catcher Alex Jackson to the Twins in exchange for minor league infielder Payton Eeles.

Jackson was one of the tender deadline decisions ahead of Baltimore today. Instead, the Orioles flip him for a middle infielder who reached Triple-A last season

Not much a decision, you non-tender him at $7M+.

Now, if Coby gets moved, maybe you look to bring Mounty back at a significantly reduced rate/incentives-laden deal to be the RH platoon option. May not even get full MLB contract offers anywhere else.

But I am guessing that ship is about to sail.

By the end of S3, TNG was clicking on all cylinders. One speedbump in that space is Menage a Troi. It was a dumb episode in the moment and has aged worse. But you do get the Picard fighting for Lwaxana scene (and subsequent memes), which is a gem.

I like him better in OPACY's RF than OPACY's LF...but the Orioles already have 2 other OFs I like better RF than LF. (In addition to my pipedream of moving a 3B to RF and then signing an IF.)

He's probably got the best range of that lot. He's not a butcher out there at least.
Mark Gubicza on Taylor Ward's OF defense: "A couple years ago we thought he could be a gold glover in LF. His arm hasn't been as good. But he's fearless out there in the OF... not afraid to go back on a ball, he goes wherever he needs. There's some things to work on, but a solid defender." #Orioles

Mentioned in another thread, but I think the Orioles probably would have felt better about Grayson's arm if he had just blown out the elbow and had Tommy John at the beginning of last year. That he's been unavailable without TJS is probably more concerning when they were looking at 2026 rotation.

Ward is basically O'Neill, but durable. Maybe a little worse in the field.

Adds some swing & miss the Orioles lineup has desperately needed.

(I kid)

If the Orioles are moving away from Gray Rod and picking up Taylor Ward, that feels like the first maneuver in a series of multiple dominoes to fall.

(Standard disclaimer that Mike is a douche) Elias doesn't do things like that without a plan.

Grizzlies have owned the Spurs since Kawhi left.

With all the guys hurt, Devin Vassel **has** to be better than this.

With Elon basically ruining the DMs feature, there is another opportunity for this site if it can finally launch group chats

Flopping guards is bad enough, but I have no love for flopping bigs - and Sengun is probably the worst currently in the NBA in that regard.

Almost an incredible job staying in bounds by Dowdle...but man, if he waits a tik for those linemen, he's got a TD without having to tightrope.

The problem with all adaptations of Frankenstein (except for Young Frankenstein, which is perfect) is that the original novel is....boring and not great. Opium's a hell of a drug.

Kansas State can't lose this game and bring Chris Klieman back in 2026. (Mabye shouldn't anyways)

If that's what Mitch Johnson drew up, he deserves *a little* of the criticism he got this week.

Old Warriors are basically reduced to needing Steph to be nuclear and finding buyers for foul merchantry.

It’s the hottest economy in history with $21 trillion coming in.

Also: we need the Fed to cut rates and “prop up this economy.” 🤪

It won't change because the stretched out timeline generally favors teams/owners to suppress salaries, but MLB free agency is such a dud compared to the other sports.

I'll cut him some slack because it's just his third game coming off a leg injury, but man...De'Aaron Fox was look-for-gambling-irregularities level bad tonight.
November 13, 2025 at 3:23 AM
Warriors are going to shoot ~60 3s and somehow get 30 FTs and a 2x FT advantage because Scott Foster is the league's top purchaser of foul merchantry.

1st quarter was maybe the Spurs best defensive quarter of the year, and then they've followed it with maybe their 2 worst defensive quarters of the year. So...not good
November 13, 2025 at 2:51 AM
Someday the Spurs will figure out how to hold a double digit lead. That day is obviously not today.
