Ya know. In my 270 hours of Sparking! Zero. Never once did I think the devs hadn't actually played the game. They were underfunded, maybe not great at it, have zero desire to put in the time or patch frequency to facilitate an online fighting game. But they definitely had played it.

I've been slowly chipping away at the Nightreign platinum. God I hate this game. I am honestly at the point where I wish it would've failed so From Software knows to do better. Nightreign is at least 87% trash. Which is like 50% more than normal Souls is.

Nightreign genuinely hurts. It is so obviously a cash grab put out by people who either didn't have the money, or the skill to make something good. The new bosses are for the most part quite fun, but there's like 8 of them. 98% of the roster is ripped out of base ER with little change.

I did eventually go back and beat Doom: The Dark Ages. The game overall is...fine I guess. Little miffed about them shadow dropping a server side patch to increase enemy damage and remove some safety. Which may explain the immediate frustration I found myself in with the final mission.

On the literal final mission of the Dark Ages and it got me to rage quit. Every issue I have is getting exacerbated by the increased difficulty of the final level. It doesn't help that mission 20 and 21 both crashed on me. My opinion of the game is dropping rabidly and probably undeservedly.

Just got past the halfway point in The Dark Ages. It hasn't done much to combat the points I made a few days ago. It's quirks are endlessly frustrating and as the game has increased in difficulty, those quirks are becoming exponentially more noticable.

Having not really expected to play Doom: The Dark Ages, it's really snuck up on me. Having very little hype surrounding the game has meant I'm approaching it very skeptically. It's...fine? I'm not seeing 9/10 quality so far. If I do a proper review on it, I know I'm gonna be pretty brutal.

Having now completed Chapter 1 of Viscerafest, it's definitely better than it's original incarnation. If partially because it's boss is 4 trillion times better than it's original incarnation. My only issue with it being visibility; with the boss flashing, making it difficult to discern its attacks

It is a bit odd going back to Viscerafest after nearly 2 years away from originally playing through it. I thought about steaming it like I had back then, but decided the ability to just pick it up and play for a level or 2 was more important given my history with its difficulty.

If you're wondering (and no one is) what my thoughts are on the two new levels in Ultrakill. E-1 is pretty good, one of the better levels and probably my favorite out of everything releases since Act 2. E-0 is awful. Probably the least enjoyable level in the game

Oh wow it's Bluesky. I think it's finally about time I started posting here, especially since my presence on Musk Social feels disgusting.
