Took a while to get the chubby #ewes out of the paddock & into the yards for preg scanning tomorrow. I wonder how many #lambs are on the way?

Around 40 ewes standing & looking at you from inside two steel yards under bottlebrushes & autumn colour trees. They'll be ultrasound preg scanned in the morning.

A break in the doom-scrolling.
I picked the #pears from a netted branch on the 100+ year old tree my grandparents planted. Binned some pears (fruit fly) but these look good.
Last month, the parrots ate the rest.
A dozen or so freshly picked russet & green pears drying on a wire rack after a rinse with water. King Parrot with a bright red head & dark green back leaning forward on a slim branch eating a small pear on a very old, rough barked pear tree.
