This summer I added a new ewe to my flock — meet Ethel! She is a gorgeous natural colored CotswoldxCoopworth ewe. I have added her fleece to my Etsy shop, see the comments for a link to the listing. She has settled into the flock wonderfully! #Sheepsky #Skysheep #spinnersflock #SmallFarmLife #sheep

I’ve started selling wool fertilizer pellets on my Etsy page! They’re great for both container gardens and traditional gardens. They help to retain soil moisture and break down over time to add nutrients back to the soil

The lighting at my workstation doesn’t really do it justice, but I love the colors of this batt I’m working on. It’s mostly Olive’s wool (Romeldale x) with some alpaca and silk blended in. All dyed by me #WIP #spinning #wool #spinnersflock

I started working with Pygora goat fiber this year, and so far I love it! It’s so soft and makes wonderful yarn. I think I may see Pygora goats in my future! 💖

This batt is about 80% white Pygora fiber/20% CVM/Romeldale wool. The Pygora fiber is from HoofandPawFarm on Etsy

Started skirting today. I’m really happy with how Dahlia and Olive’s fleeces turned out. I was especially curious about Olive, because I’ve never seen a Suffolk/CVM cross before. Both are soft and lovely ☺️💖

Looked over my lambs’ fleeces the other day, I’m quite excited for shearing season to start so I can begin spinning them! I’m especially curious about Olive, since I’ve never spun a Suffolk cross fleece before and I’m curious whether it will be more similar to the Suffolk fleece or the Romeldale
